With a professional background including architectural experience in Papua New Guinea and Greece, Roger has been practising in North Queensland since 1987.
His extensive design experience has been recognised with industry awards including 12 awards from the Australian Institute of Architects. Roger is well known for his Tropical Architecture and residences which manage to seamlessly integrate project with environment in a fundamently sustainable way.
His award-winning private residences complement his design skills in the tourist industry with projects such as The Point Apartments, Monsoon Villas, Far Pavilions, The Portsea Resort, The Peninsula Boutique Hotel and Portico Shops in Port Douglas and the Reef Retreat, Restaurant "Vivo" in Palm Cove.
As designer for The Port Douglas Community Centre, The Clink Theatre, the Tank's Community Arts Centre and the Cairns Regional Art Gallery his close involvement with community groups has always ensured his concepts are sensitive to the needs of both users and locals.
